About Me

I am a behavioural and animal ecologist interested in ecological consequences of individual differences. Between 2017-18 I was an interim professor for Animal Ecology at the Zoological Institute and Museum at Greifswald University, Germany. Currently, I am a senior researcher at the University of Potsdam, Germany.

As a trained behavioural and animal ecologist and keen naturalist, I hold scientific expertise in animal ecology, behavioural ecology, life history, and community ecology particularly in mammals. My research projects are interdisciplinary, incorporating behavioural biology, cognition, evolution and ecology. My research involves long-term field studies in Madagascar, Canada and Germany and controlled experiments under natural, semi-natural and laboratory conditions in Germany and France.
